One of the first steps in planning a wedding is laying out a timeline. These timelines are intended to provide you an overview of what we typically recommend, but will vary based on your specific ceremony and reception location. If you are working with a wedding planner they can help you fine-tune your timeline and if not no worries we can go over it when we do our Timeline Consultation together.
Hair & makeup mostly completed for all ladies upon photographer's arrival, photos of bridal details, fun group photos of bride & bridesmaids. Second photographer with groom & groomsmen for prep photos.
Bride dresses. First look with father of the bride and bridesmaids (if requested)
Groom and groomsmen should be completed dressed and ready.
First Look!
Wedding Party and immediate family formals. Some Bride and Groom portraits can be taken at this time, if that is requested some time will need to be added at this time in the timeline .
Bride, Groom and Bridal Party tucked away to freshen-up and allow guests to arrive. Photos of ceremony location and guests arriving will be taken at this time.
Ceremony!
Extended family formals are taken if requested. Wedding party is released for cocktail hour.
All or a few more Bride and Groom Portraits. Then make it back for a drink at cocktail hour.
Let the party begin!!
Real or faux exit if requested.
Depending on the specifics of your day we will probably steal you away when the sun is setting to get some of that golden hour light that everyone craves.
